The Coffs Harbour Technology Park is managed by a Board of Directors with day-today management being performed by the on-site Innovation Centre Coordinator. The following information provides general information about the Board members and the Coordinator and their experience.

Board of Directors

Warren Grimshaw
Warren Grimshaw

Mr Grimshaw is Deputy Chair of the NSW TAFE Commission Board, Chair of the North Coast Institute Advisory Council and Chair of Mid North Coast Local Health District Board. He is also Chair of the Coffs Harbour Technology Park Board and member of the Governing Council for TAFE Higher Education, Honorary Fellow of Southern Cross University, Honorary Fellow of Australian Council of Education Leaders.

In his role as Executive Director of the Coffs Harbour Education Campus, Mr Grimshaw contributed to a better understanding of cross sectoral issues in education; expanded the educational opportunities for people in this region, enhanced the capital infrastructure and embarked on a number of initiatives, including the establishment of the Coffs Harbour Technology Park, and contributed to the development of a number of new program areas.

Steve McGrath
Steve McGrath

Steve commenced as General Manager of Coffs Harbour City Council in November 2010. Prior to this he spent in excess of 30 years working in the local government sector including 18 years as General Manager at Singleton and Young Councils. Immediately prior to commencing with Coffs Harbour City Council, Steve spent 2½ years consulting to the public sector, predominately local government, on a range of strategic and operational projects. He has served on the NSW and National Boards of LGMA and was privileged to serve as President in NSW (2004/6) and Nationally (2007/8). Steve has a passion for the local government sector, recognising that it provides a real opportunity to make a difference in creating place for our communities. The diversity in local government service delivery and challenges associated with delivering more with less are what drives Steve on a daily basis.

Peter Lee

Peter Lee is currently the Vice Chancellor of Southern Cross University.  Previously he held senior positions at the University of South Australia, Curtin University of Technology and Murdoch University. Author of 4 books and over 270 papers, he also has an active consultancy practice in the application of process control methods. He was awarded the Centenary Medal for services to Australian society in 2003. Peter was educated in Melbourne and has degrees from RMIT and Monash University. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, Engineers Australia and of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, London.

Elizabeth McGregor
Elizabeth McGregor

Responsible for strategic leadership of NCTAFE, a fast growing organisation now operating in a globally competitive educational marketplace. A Fellow of Melbourne University’s LH Martin Institute, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, past Chair of RDA Mid North Coast, and a member of several national ministerial taskforces and advisory groups on Vocational Education and on Regional Development. Founding signatory of the Northern Rivers Climate Change Collaboration. Experience in educational delivery and development, strategic facilitation, and  industrial bargaining. A practitioner of innovative leadership development.
